Onion Rings

If onion rings are on the menu it’s guaranteed we’ll be ordering them!

We are HUGE fans of onion rings, so of course we have a stellar recipe for them! Ours are just the way we like them, with plenty of onion and a light crisp coating.

Plus they are so easy to make (ready in only 30 minutes). Now instead of heading to the nearest fast food joint, you’ll be whipping them up at home whenever you get a hankering!

As an appetizer or as a side, onion rings are always a hit. Just add your favorite dipping sauces.

Ingredients:
  • 1 large Vidalia onion
  • 1 quart canola oil, for frying
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk, or as needed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2-3 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • ⅛ teaspoon seasoned salt, or to taste
Prep Time:
20 minutes
Cook Time:
10 minutes
Total Time:
30 minutes
