Apple Smoothie

It tastes just like apple pie, but in a cold, creamy, totally drinkable form. I love using a Medjool date to sweeten it naturally because it adds just a hint of caramel flavor… and we all know caramel and apples are a match made in heaven.

Ingredients:
- 1 Honeycrisp apple, peeled chopped (1 cup)
- 1/2 cup milk, use your favorite milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons old fashioned oats
- 1 tablespoon almond butter, or peanut butter
- 1 Medjool date, pitted and chopped (or 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling
- Big scoop of ice, to thicken
