Sugar-Free Dinner Waffles

Waffles are a favorite for breakfast, but they're just as delicious for dinner. It's very easy to transform waffles into a savory meal and all you need to do is skip the sugar.

This sugar-free waffle recipe is easy to make. The waffles are perfect for topping with meat and gravy or in the Southern classic of fried chicken and waffles. You can also enjoy them in the morning if you are trying to cut sugar from your diet. Either way, they take just a few minutes to mix up the batter.

You don't need to buy pancake mix as you probably have all of the ingredients in your pantry. What you will need is a waffle iron. There are many convenient electric waffle irons available. However, if you balk at buying one, you could also simply grease a grill pan and cook your waffles on it. They will have parallel lines rather than squares, but it works.
