Apple Crisp
Apple Crisp- Fresh apple slices are topped with a sweet cinnamon oat topping that is buttery and delicious. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the ultimate fall dessert.
Ingredients:
For the topping:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup old fashioned oats
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
12 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into tablespoon pieces
For the apple filling:
10 cups sliced and peeled Granny Smith apples, about 8 medium apples
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon corn starch
