Cowboy Butter Garlic Bread

Each half of the loaf is coated in my flavorful compound butter, a blend of herbs and spices with a subtle kick of cayenne pepper. Then, mozzarella and parmesan cheese top the bread, creating a gooey, golden-brown crust when baked or cooked in an air fryer.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cowboy butter, softened, divided
- 1 Italian loaf, cut in half horizontally
- 2 cups (226 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
- ½ cup (50 g) parmesan cheese, shredded, divided
- salt, to taste
- parsley, for garnish

- ½ cup (1 stick / 113 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon coarse Dijon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme,
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
