- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
For the frosting
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 4 and ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or whole milk
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- Pinch of salt
- Finely chopped pistachios, for garnish
- Drizzle of honey, optional
