Chicken Pillows

When my husband and I first got married, he INSISTED I learn how to make Chicken Pillows because it was his favorite dinner. My initial thought was, “What on earth are Chicken Pillows?!” Once I tried them and bit into this “pillow” of joy and deliciousness, they soon became a favorite of mine, too! They are really, REALLY, good!

Ingredients:
  • 8 ounce can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken, I usually get a rotisserie chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 40 saltine crackers crushed in a bag or bowl

Sauce
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded colby jack and Monterey cheese
