Protein Packed Sausage Balls

These Protein Packed Sausage Balls are a savory, cheddar filled sausage bites that are packed with protein! These sausage balls make for a perfect quick and easy breakfast, snack, or as a game-day appetizer!

Everybody has had sausage balls, right? Perhaps at a family party or a church function? They are a classic game day appetizer that I knew I needed to lighten up and recreate using my favorite protein packed ingredients including: Kodiak pancake mix, Fairlife milk and Jennie O’ Turkey Sausage! Each sausage ball has 4 grams of PROTEIN, which means these will keep you full for hours!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Jennie O’ Italian Turkey Sausage
  • 1/2 cups reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cups milk of your choice. I use Fairlife skim milk
  • 2 cups Kodiak buttermilk pancake mix or Bisquick
Prep Time:
