Apple Walnut Raisin Bread

This Apple Raisin and Walnut Bread is so moist, fluffy, and delicious. A simple bread recipe made with fresh apples, golden raisins, walnuts, and a bright citrus note. Easy to make, tasty, and perfect to enjoy all year round.

I love the classic apple walnut bread and I wanted to make a lighter version of it and add in some raisins! Loved the combination and I think you will love it too. This simple apple bread is so moist and tasty and it is made with added applesauce, chopped walnuts, and coconut oil.

Summary
Healthy and nutritious: This apple bread made with oats is dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and made with wholesome ingredients, especially coconut oil instead of butter.

Moist and delicious: You will love how moist and satisfying this version of apple bread is compared to the higher sugar versions that cause a sugar crash after a couple of hours.

Easy to make: Like other “quick bread,” this healthy apple bread with applesauce is super easy to make once you get all your ingredients together.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 Teaspoon lemon zest, from 1/2 small lemon
