Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons butter (salted)
- 4 lb yellow onions (peeled and thinly sliced)
- 1 teasoon EACH: sea salt and pepper
- 2 tablesoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 2 tablesoons dry sherry
- 6 cups beef bone broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
