I am not in the closet...I am full on, card carrying Geek since childhood...64 years and counting...I make costumes for other Geeks like myself . I am currently exploring historical costuming which is so much fun.
I love my family both immediate and extended and wish we had more time to share with each other. I have lived in the Tampa Bay Area most of my life and went to school and college here. I currently live in Spring Hill, FL but have lived as far North as Connecticut and Indiana. I have lived in Georgia and Tennessee, but Florida is always home. I do hope to do more traveling though as i get older.
MY longest passion has been costuming in my favorite genres with friends recreating the magic of our favorite films and their characters. I have worn and created the costumes of Klingons, federation officers, Renaissance wenches to ladies-in-waiting, Star Wars characters and other fun stuff since I was in high school.
I enjoy the arts and sciences.
Self-employed,skilled seamstress, dabbling in the arts, passionate about my causes and those I care about. Hooked on entertainment arts. I love to write poetry, render sketches of friends and family. I like going to Sci-Fi and fantasy conventions. I have been to Dragoncon in Atlanta more than 10 times since 1994. I am a Star Wars costumer and member of the 501st and Rebel Legion and Mando Mercs supporter. I love all kinds of costuming and especially like making them more than wearing them. I love animals, photography, the mountains, the beach, my family, my work, and adventure. I have been to Sturgis for Bike Week with my gal pal Kat and would like to do that again some time. I have been as far west as California and North to the Dakotas and New York and would love to visit the Keys, the Pacific Islands and Europe some day. The rest is just play it by ear.

7-9-2016 Lost my only brother to the Gulf of Mexico on a fishing trip with friends. Lost my father 8 months later 3/21/17. Life moves quickly and death comes no matter how we try to avoid it., Smell the roses, hug your loved ones, and forget the small squabbles and stuff because it all means nothing when you come to it. Love, laugh and live as if today were your last.
