Ingredients:
For the Cupcakes
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cake flour
  • 1/2 Tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick of butter, at room temperature
  • 1 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 whole eggs + 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup finely chopped strawberries

For the Frosting
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, rinsed, hulled, and coarsely chopped
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 sticks of butter, at room temperature and cut into Tablespoon-sized cubes
