Kale and Feta Turkey Burgers

Perfectly juicy and tender turkey burgers made even better with an addition of sauteed kale, onion, garlic and a generous amount of crumbled feta cheese. I also included a quick and easy feta cream sauce to pair with the patties.

Many people try to avoid ordering turkey burgers in the restaurant because they tend to be dry and/or crumbly. Not my burger!! Not to toot my horn, but I make amazing turkey burgers that are always juicy and tender. I have a few ingredients and techniques that learned and tested over the years to make sure of that. Now lets go try them.

Ingredients:
Turkey Burgers
  • 2 lbs ground turkey 93%-7% lean
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs gluten free if needed
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil divided
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 4-6 garlic cloves
  • 5 oz kale leaves (it will be about 3 oz without stems)
  • 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh minced parsley
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Optional Feta Sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh minced parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt more or less to taste
