- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon paste
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 Parmesan rind
- 2/3 cup Pastina pasta (Acini di pepe)
- Salt and pepper to taste
