Dragon Fruit Chill Smoothie with Hibiscus & Coconut

Let’s just admit it. Some smoothies taste like lawn clippings. But this one is different. She’s gorgeous, tastes like a tropical vacation, and kind of makes you feel like you’re in a fancy spa setting.

With frozen dragon fruit, tart hibiscus, creamy banana, coconut water, mint, and ginger, it’s a great way to fight off the summer heat while also allowing you to avoid the $13 smoothie trap. (WHY are they so expensive these days?)

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup frozen dragon fruit chunks
  • 1 hibiscus tea bag (or 1 tsp dried hibiscus flowers)
  • ¾ cup coconut water
  • ½ lime for the juice
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 5 mint leaves adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • ice cubes
Prep Time:
10 minutes
Total Time:
10 minutes
