Weeknight Baked Turkey Tacos
Everyone adores these baked ground turkey tacos! These are perfect to make on a busy weeknight and so delicious. Cheesy, warm and topped with lettuce, avocado and pico de gallo, they are great for a family meal.
Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground turkey (you can sub beef)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
12 to 15 hard taco shells
1 to 2 cups grated chihuahua or cheddar cheese
shredded lettuce, for serving
chopped avocado, for serving
QUICK PICO DE GALLO
1 pint cherry tomatoes, quartered
½ sweet onion, diced
¼ cup cilantro, chopped
½ lime, juiced
pinch salt and pepper
