Ingredients:
For the Dough
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
For the Filling
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
Also needed
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water for brushing on before baking
- baking spray
- pearl sugar or crushed nuts for topping
