Instant Pot French Dip
Tender roasted, French Dip Sandwiches cooked in the Instant Pot. Piled on a crusty french roll with extra cheese, this flavorful dinner is then dipped in au jus!
French Dip sandwiches are full of tender beef cooked in a rich au jus (wine broth) and served on a crusty french bread with melted cheese.
They are hearty and meaty and flavorful. It’s pretty much sandwich heaven.
While I don’t normally use red wine when making my French Dip, I do like to occasionally use a good dark beer. However, for today’s version, I thought I would try it without alcohol, since so many of you prefer alcohol free recipes!
Ingredients:
- 4 pound chuck roast
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 Tablespoon steak seasoning mix
- 1 ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tablespoons minced onion
- 2 ½ cup beef stock
- french bread and provolone cheese for sandwiches
