Blueberry Kale Smoothie

Blueberry Kale Smoothie

This blueberry kale smoothie is easy to make and only requires a few simple ingredients. Packed with kale and fresh blueberries, it’s tastes amazing. I’m not a huge breakfast person myself, so having something I can sip on over an hour or so and still give my body something to work with is a great option and smoothies fill this void nicely.

You can make these in a number of ways, using regular milk or even substituting standard cow milk for other options such as Oat Milk, Rice Milk or Coconut Milk. Obviously, some flavor profiles will change slightly, but the recipe works just fine either way. To make this delicious smoothie, you’ll need simple ingredients.

If you want your smoothie to be thicker, increase the number of blueberries and lower the amount of milk by 1/2 cup. This will give you a thicker end result. Personally, I found the measurements we used to be good for our family, but some people want more of a milkshake end result, so there’s how you can do it! Remember that this recipe is easy to adjust to your liking so feel free to tweak it as desired.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk almond, soy, rice, coconut or cow milk is fine
  • 1 cup kale chopped and washed
  • 1 banana
  • 1.5 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon honey
