Blueberry Smoothie

Looking for a quick antioxidant boost and a delicious way to do so? Why not try this excellent Blueberry Smoothie! Packed with the good stuff, it’s a great, healthy alternative to traditional shakes and is the perfect breakfast option for those who aren’t into heavy meals at breakfast. This blueberry smoothie is easy to make and only requires a few simple ingredients. Packed full of fresh blueberries, it’s tastes amazing. I’m not a huge breakfast person myself so having something I can sip on over an hour or so and still give my body something to work with is a great option and smoothies fill this void nicely.

You can make these in a number of ways, using regular milk or even substituting standard cow milk for other options such as Oat Milk, Rice Milk or Coconut Milk. Obviously, some of the flavour profiles will change slightly but the recipe works just fine either way.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk almond soy, rice, coconut or cow milk is fine
  • 1 banana
  • 1.5 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon honey
