Snickers Macarons
Today we are making Snickers Macarons! They are filled with Caramel Buttercream and nougat, and topped with melted chocolate, caramel drizzle, chopped Snickers bars, and chopped peanuts. These Snickers Macarons are the real deal! They tasted so much like the real candy bar. The nougat filling is specially amazing!
Super easy to make, only two ingredients: marshmallow fluff and peanut butter! That’s it! If you can’t find any marshmallow fluff where you are, don’t worry! It’s super easy to make it at home. For the filling I also chose a Caramel Buttercream. These Snickers macarons are delicious! Chocolate macaron shells dipped in chocolate are topped with caramel, and snickers bars. The macarons are filled with salted caramel Buttercream and a special nougat filling, so perfect for the snickers flavor and texture.
Ingredients:
Chocolate Shells
- 100 grams egg whites
- 100 grams white sugar
- 96 grams almond flour
- 75 grams powdered sugar
- 14 grams cocoa powder
- Brown food coloring optional to deepen the color
Salted Caramel Sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar 100 grams
- 1/4 cup heavy cream 60 ml
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter 42 grams
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Salted Caramel Buttercream
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter room temperature 84 grams
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce store bought or homemade recipe below (60 ml)
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 187.5 grams
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
Nougat Filling
- 2 tbsp marshmallow fluff
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
To decorate
- 113 grams chocolate melted
- Snickers bars cut in pieces
- 3 tbsp chopped peanuts
