- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon all spice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar or powdered sugar

- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons cane sugar for rolling
