Orange, Date & Avocado Salad

Here is a stunning but simple citrus and avocado salad to bid farewell to winter.

Ingredients:

  • 1 blood orange (or regular)
  • 1 pink grapefruit
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 winter tomatoes
  • 1 spring onion
  • 2 tbsp of your best olive oil
  • a handful toasted hazelnuts
  • 2 soft dates
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • 1/2 tsp sumac
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • bread, to serve
