The crust is just Oreo cookies and butter, the chocolate layer is simply melted chocolate and cream, and the filling is a luscious blend of whipped cream, sugar, cream cheese, and peanut butter. The pie needs at least 3 hours to set up in the fridge, so plan accordingly—or better yet, make it a day ahead and cross it off your list!
- 24 Oreo cookies
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ⅓ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or 2 oz chopped semi-sweet chocolate)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter (see note)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1½ cups confectioners’ sugar
