Sweet Georgia Peach and Pecan Dip

The peaches are mixed with onions, bacon, McCormick® Grill Mates® Brown Sugar Bourbon Marinade, cola, pecans, and that lovely sweet-and-savory mixture tops tangy cream cheese.

There’s a little kick from the marinade and the cooling cream cheese perfectly balances it. There are so many flavors and textures in every bite. The dip is easy, ready in about 30 minutes, has so much flavor, and is sure to be a hit at any party.

This is the dip that you never knew was missing from your life. The combination of sweet peaches matched with the amazing depth of flavor in the Brown Sugar Bourbon marinade paired with the texture from chopped pecans… well let’s just say that this is a life-changing dish! To be honest… I was in no way prepared for how delicious this dip is. I was maybe even a bit hesitant… my mind couldn’t quite comprehend how the sweet and savory would work. To say it was a pleasant surprise is an understatement! After we finished the dip my family demanded more… I made it twice in one day!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 small sweet Vidalia onion, diced small (about 1 cup)
  • about 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 package Brown Sugar Bourbon Marinade
  • 1 cup cola-flavored carbonated beverage
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed

  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened (I used 1/3 reduced fat), softened
