For this recipe the homemade brown sugar simple syrup and prepared espresso are shaken with ice in a cocktail shaker or jar and poured over fresh ice in a glass.

- ¼ cup brown sugar

- 3 tablespoons brown sugar simple syrup
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups ice divided
