Blueberry Lemon Blondies

Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. freshly grated lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, measured correctly
- 2 tsp. corn starch
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, optional
- 2 tsp. pure cane sugar, optional
