Hungarian Farsangi Fánk

I grew up enjoying Hungarian Farsangi Fánk (carnival doughnuts), and now you too can enjoy them at home! That may be a good thing or a bad thing because they’re absolutely addictive!
These authentic Hungarian doughnuts are light and fluffy and not as sugary as store-bought doughnuts.
Homemade doughnuts are easier than you think. This recipe is super easy to follow with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 tsp. (one package) active dry yeast
- 2 cups milk, warmed to about 110 degrees
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 5 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 1/4 cups flour, sifted
- canola oil for frying
- confectioners' sugar for sprinkling
