Creamy Cheesecake Dip

Creamy Cheesecake Dip

Creamy cheesecake dip that comes together in 10 minutes? You’re not dreaming, it’s true! With the appearance of hot chocolate and the taste of chocolate cheesecake, this recipe is such a hit at parties. You should probably just make a double batch, because it’s going to vanish! Included in this recipe are lots of fun variations!

There are just 5 simple ingredients, plus the addition of fun little mini marshmallows: cream cheese (because it’s cheesecake dip), powdered sugar – dissolves quickly and makes it nice and sweet! Cocoa powder – gotta have that chocolate! Vanilla extract – it adds an extra layer of flavor, heavy cream – makes it light, fluffy, and super creamy!

Variations on this cheesecake dip: As always, recipes are made to have fun with! Listed below are some fun variations to make this recipe your own. If you can’t get enough coffee in your life (me neither!), add in a tablespoon of espresso powder for a mocha flavor! Swap out the vanilla extract for chocolate extract to make this extra chocolatey. If you’re a chocolate fanatic, you could also stir mini chocolate chips in (about 1/2 cup) for a fun chocolate crunch. Top with whipped cream instead of marshmallows. Leave out the cocoa powder and add the pulp scraped from a vanilla bean for a vanilla bean cheesecake dip. Leave out the cocoa powder and add a tablespoon of ground cinnamon for a snickerdoodle or churro type flavor. Serve with strawberries and other fruit instead of pretzels and graham crackers. Animal crackers are also fun!

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (I use dark chocolate)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • marshmallows bits or mini marshmallows for topping (about 2 tablespoons)
