This coffee cake is the perfect breakfast or brunch treat that pairs perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea. For the streusel topping:

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed

1 teaspoon kosher salt

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the cake:

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs, at room temperature

1 1/2 cups sour cream, at room temperature

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

For the vanilla glaze:

1 cup confectioners’ sugar

2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream

1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
