Pineapple Tequila Cocktail

Give your margarita a tropical twist with this bright pineapple margarita recipe. This is the cocktail I whip up when the sun is shining and I want to feel like I’m on vacation. I’ll show you the best way to balance the sweet pineapple and tangy lime flavors for a cocktail you’ll LOVE – all in just 10 minutes!
It's really no secret that we love margaritas. I've prepared pretty much every variation under the sun: fizzy lime margarita, rhubarb margarita, cranberry margarita, and coffee margarita.
This pineapple margarita with fresh pineapple purée is what I reach for on hot sunny days. It's ultra-refreshing and the kick of tequila hits just right every time.
The fresh pineapple purée is an extra step, but it adds a really wonderful tropical vibe to the drink. To make it, peel and chop a quarter of a pineapple, toss it into your blender, and blend it until it's smooth.
Transfer the purée to a shaker or jar along with the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and some ice. Shake until it's cold, then pour it into glasses, and garnish with some pineapple.
We give the glass a sweet and spicy rim which plays so well with the fruity taste of the pineapple. You only need three ingredients, and it's an easy way to elevate your drink.
