Bang Bang Chicken Skewers

Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are grilled to perfection and slathered with a spicy, sweet bang bang sauce! These chicken kabobs make for a perfect appetizer or main course, offering a delicious mix of heat and sweetness!

Why This Recipe Works

Packed with Flavor: If you have never had bang bang sauce, you are in for a treat! These chicken is first marinated in the sauce and then coated in more sauce after grilling to ensure maximum flavor. Bang bang sauce is commonly used on shrimp, but it is super delicious with chicken, too! Made with mayonnaise, sweet red chili sauce, Dijon mustard, and honey, bang bang sauce is easy to prepare and the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors!

Easy to Make: Bang bang chicken kabobs are actually so easy to make! Since the chicken and veggies are cut into small pieces, they cook in a short amount of time. Dinner will be on the table in no time! You can serve this chicken with a simple side of rice or roasted potatoes!

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts - cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper - chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper - chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup chopped onion - (I used ½ white onion, ½ red onion)

  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • 4 tablespoons greek yogurt - (may sub sour cream)
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • ⅓ cup sweet red chili sauce
