- 1/2 cup (55 grams) Walnuts rough chopped

- 4 (1 pound 12 ounces / 815 grams) Medium Apples
- 2 tablespoons All Purpose Flour
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg fresh if you can
- 1 Lemon zested
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup (60 grams) Water sub apple juice or cider if desired
