Cranberry Bacon Jam and Feta Crostini

These Cranberry Bacon Jam and Feta Crostini are the ultimate sweet-and-savory appetizer! Crisp, golden baguette slices are topped with my homemade cranberry bacon jam and a sprinkle of creamy feta. They’re easy to prep, perfect for a holiday appetizer tray, and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
- 1 French baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds (about 20 slices)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup cranberry bacon jam, divided
- ¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled, divided
- fresh chives, finely chopped, for garnish
Cranberry Bacon Jam
- 1 pound thick-cut bacon, diced
- 2 large yellow onions, finely diced (about 3 cups)
- 2 large (or 6 small) shallots, diced (about 1 ½ cups)
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- ½ cup (100 g) light brown sugar, packed
- ⅓ cup (79 g) apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup (85 g) pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon chili powder, optional, but highly recommended
- 1 ½ cups (150 g) fresh cranberries
