One Bite Mini Lasagna Roll Ups

Blossom Lady

Jan 26, 2022 06:15 AM

I think lasagna might be one of my favorite ever pasta dishes. It might be a hold over from when I was little, but most likely it is just because it is so good. When I was small, my brother was obsessed with lasagna. It might have been because of his love for Garfield, but maybe he, like everyone else in the world, loves baked noodles, sauce, and cheese? I’ll have to ask him. Anyway, for that reason alone lasagna really reminds me of childhood and all that is right in the world. I’ll take lasagna in any f...

It is delicious served with this Cilantro Lime Cauliflower Rice. I made this dish to take to a football party, as we were all bringing components for a taco bar. It was a big hit! Alt...

Addictive Appetizer: Sausage Cheese Balls Recipe

Blossom Lady

Jan 26, 2022 05:17 AM

If you have a holiday party and I’m invited (I hope I’m invited!), I’ll be hanging out at the appetizers, just eating away, awkwardly avoiding conversation unless it’s about said appetizers. I swear I could live on appetizers (or mini food items) because I love variety. But then again, if I really like something, I can eat a lot of it and mini makes it more fun. Fun like these sausage cheese balls. Have you guys had sausage cheese balls? Apparently they’re a classic American appetizer. For some reason we ...

Jan 26, 2022 04:58 AM

Apple, Fennel, and Salami Salad is an easy working lunch that really hits the spot with a sweetly satisfying dose of crunch. This unusual fall salad came together in a flash and brightened up my day. Some of the best food I’ve had in my life has been sitting at somebody else’s kitchen table when they’ve whipped up a last minute lunch or snack from stuff they happened to have lying around. I love to watch other people cook when they’re in their element like this, confident and creative, working off that inb...

Parmesan Crusted Pesto Tilapia with Roasted Tomatoes

Blossom Lady

Jan 26, 2022 04:30 AM

A light, simple and delightful tilapia fillet topped with melted Parmesan, basil pesto and roasted tomatoes. After making the summery version of the Parmesan crusted pesto tilapia bruschetta, I could not help but think to update this fall/winter version. The only difference between these recipes is that the summer version uses beautiful fresh ripe tomatoes but when they are not available this version works better, roasting the tomatoes to help concentrate and bring out more of their flavor. This di...
